About the department

The Intellectual Property and Patents Department assists companies, entrepreneurs and innovation bodies in protecting, managing and maximizing the value of their patent assets in Israel and worldwide. We view intellectual property as a critical business asset: intellectual property is not merely an isolated legal field, but an integral part of the client’s overarching strategy. The team accompanies clients throughout the asset’s entire life cycle – from registration and portfolio development, through licensing and commercialization, to brand protection and rights enforcement.

Our services are not limited to patents, but extend across all areas of intellectual property, including trademarks, designs, copyrights, trade secrets and domain names, as well as their associated commercial aspects, such as licensing, commercialization and the transfer of rights.

In the field of trademarks, we assist clients with preliminary advice and the selection of marks, registration in Israel and worldwide, handling objections and managing oppositions, as well as enforcement against infringements, passing off and dilution of goodwill.

In addition, the team represents clients before the courts, in arbitration and mediation proceedings, and before governmental authorities such as the Registrar of Patents, and manages the full range of intellectual property disputes – infringement of patents, trademarks and copyrights, ownership and inventors’ rights disputes, and opposition and cancellation proceedings.
