Biography

Alon Tabak Aviram is a partner and Co-Head of the Hi-tech & Venture Capital Department.

Alon specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, technology and financing. Alon is highly respected among his clients and is known for providing valuable guidance and support in all areas of their business operations, including strategic challenges and opportunities. He is particularly knowledgeable in international business and technology transactions, with a focus on the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Alon represents and provides on-going legal advice to technology companies and ventures throughout all stages of their life-cycles, from entity formation, through to assisting such companies in structuring and negotiating various types of strategic alliances, joint research and development programs, and other commercial value-generating transactions. Alon has vast experience in negotiating and drafting agreements for the research and development, licensing, manufacturing, sale and other commercialization of software, biotechnology and pharmaceutical products, medical devices, medical systems, and multimedia and entertainment products.

In 1994, after completing his law studies at the Hebrew University, Alon served as a clerk for the Israeli Supreme Court Justice, the Honorable Dalia Dorner. Since 1997, Alon has been with the firm, starting as associate and becoming partner in 2002. Between the years 2000-2002, Alon served as general counsel to Viryanet Ltd., an Israeli software company, which went public on the Nasdaq in 2000.
