Daniel Sekel specializes in commercial law with a particular emphasis on companies in the fields of energy and infrastructure, hi tech, and pharmaceutical sectorslife sciences arena, including the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical devices sectors.
In the field of energy and infrastructure, Daniel’s clients include Israel’s largest enterprises in the upstream gas and oil industry. Daniel has advised clients on the establishment of joint ventures for offshore gas exploration and development in Israel and abroad, long term gas sale and purchase agreements, and the construction of large infrastructure projects.
In the technology and life sciences sector Daniel has extensive experience advising suchtechnology companies at every stage of their development, from the initial research stage and seed funding, through commercial development and distribution, to acquisition or initial public offering and beyond.
Daniel advises an extensive list of clients ranging from start-ups to established public companies, as well as some of Israel's largest enterprises, universities, hospitals and research institutions. He also acts for a range of investors including angel investors, funds and technology incubators.
Daniel joined our firm as an associate in 2001. Between 2005 and 2010, Daniel headed the legal department of Ramot, the technology transfer company of Tel Aviv University, before returning to our firm as a partner in 2010.
