Biography

Sharon Adler is a partner in the Energy department and head of the Projects and Infrastructure sector.

With approximately 30 years of hands-on legal experience, Sharon has played key roles in many of the largest and most complex projects developed in Israel in recent decades by international entities, including: General Counsel and member of the senior management team of the EPC contractor for the Jerusalem Light Rail project; General Counsel to the concessionaire of the Cross-Israel Highway; General Counsel of the EPC contractor for the Ashalim solar thermal power station; legal advisor to NTA/Netivei Ayalon’s “New Fast Lanes” project; and more.

In addition, Sharon has advised on numerous mega-projects and bidding consortia in the transportation sector (including the Israel Railways electrification project, the Carmel Tunnels, the construction of the new Haifa Port, the Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Haifa-Nazareth light rail projects, Tel Aviv congestion charge, and more); in the energy sector: renewables (solar thermal power stations, conventional and floating photovoltaic facilities, storage facilities, and more), conventional energy (coal and gas); in the gas and oil sector; in the water sector (desalination, water treatment, and wastewater treatment plants); and in the industrial construction sector (semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centers) and foreign aid construction projects (COE) — in Israel and abroad.

Sharon serves as Chair of the Israeli branch society of construction law and is among its founders.

Sharon is a former Member of the Governing Committee of the Israeli Bar; Former Member of the General Assembly of the Israeli Bar; Former Member of the Governing Committee of the Jerusalem District Bar.

As a former California resident, Sharon is involved in promoting networking and business initiatives linking California and Nevada economic development agencies, academic institutions, and private companies with counterparts in Israel.

In 2021 and in 2026 Sharon was awarded the Lexology Client Choice Awards.
