Miriam Sade Fischer

Miriam Sade Fischer is an associate in the Hi-tech, Venture Capital and Privacy department at our Tel Aviv office.

Miriam provides ongoing legal advice to private and publicly held corporations from their inception and initial business transactions throughout their business stages in various corporate and commercial matters and transactions, including venture funding transactions, commercial agreements and general corporate counseling as well as advising companies with respect to their day to day corporate affairs.

Miriam advises on various aspects of GDPR and Israeli privacy law, working closely with businesses to improve their information governance in this rising field. The practice includes advising on compliance, privacy aspects in commercial agreements and corporate transactions, internal policies, organizational measures, engagement with vendors and other third-party users.

• Providing comprehensive legal advice on all of the Israeli data protection and privacy aspects as well as all aspects of GDPR to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, one of Israel’s most well recognized and globally respected universities. The firm also acts on Data Protection Officer for the University.
• Providing on-going legal advice for Photomyne, a company in the sector of family photos developing technology based AI, on all privacy aspects.
• Representing Fingenom Ltd., a company in the Fintech and algo-trading sector, in its day-to-day legal affairs in the privacy sector.
• Advising KynDryl, an American multinational information technology infrastructure services, on legal privacy issues in Israel, as well as privacy related DPA’s with international companies.
• Advising to NeuroDerm, a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, in its ongoing legal affairs within the privacy and data protection sectors, which includes liaising with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and provide it with answersrelating to privacy and information security related to the conduct of clinical trials(informed consent forms).
• Advising to ZivHealth Care since its early stages, on issues relating to privacy, data security and protection as well as on privacy by design. Ziv Healthcare develops a unique wearable device to identify, diagnose and treat Atrial fibrillation.
• Representing nrollmed, a patient enrollment start-up with tailor-made services for clinical trials, in its day-to-day legal affairs within the privacy and commercial sectors.
• Representing Caesarea Assets Corporation, The entrepreneurial real estate arm that operates for the enhancement and realization of the foundation’s properties, including the Caesarea Business Park, on privacy matters.
• Represented Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NYSE/TASE: TEVA), stretched across all their commercial needs, including the transfer of the company’s information database, as well as advised on regulatory privacy laws in Israel.
• Providing an overview of the regulatory landscape in Israel for planning activities by the company WCG, which connecs clinical research sponsors, CRO’s, sites and participants.
• Providing support to Kamada, a vertically integrated global biopharmaceutical company, focused on specialty plasma-derived therapeutics, in its licensing, distribution and other commercial activities in Israel.
• Providing support to various departments within the firm in addressing specific inquiries arising from their customer operations, including banks and more.
• Providing on-going legal advice to Integra, a holding company, with subsidiary companies in the life sciences field. While Integra has majority ownership, the subsidiary is the Hebrew University’s trading company.
• Representing MitoCareX, a biotechnology company, in its day-to-day legal affairs since its early stages including investment of SpliSense in the company.
• Representing NIBN, a self-organized trading company of Ben-Gurion University, on trading agreements of the institute, including license agreements and IIA.
