Biography

May Jbali is an associate in the firm’s Competition Department in Tel Aviv.

May advises clients on a broad range of competition and regulatory matters. Her work includes, among other things, drafting legal opinions, representing clients in competition-related litigation, and advising and representing clients before the Israel Competition Authority on a variety of matters, including merger filings and restrictive arrangements.

Prior to joining the firm in 2026, May interned in the High Court of Justice Department at the Israeli State Attorney’s Office, where she was involved in representing government ministries, public authorities, and the Attorney General in proceedings before the Supreme Court in the fields of administrative and constitutional law. She later served as an advisor to the Director of the Courts, where she handled legal and institutional matters relating to the operation of the court system, including policy development and the advancement of systemic initiatives.

May holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University. During her studies, she served as a member of the editorial board of Iyunei Mishpat, took part in the Human Rights Clinic and in a student exchange program in Prague, and also worked as a teaching assistant in the field of legislation and regulation for Prof. Neta Ziv.

May also holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she was a Fulbright Fellow. During her studies, she focused on the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, and won a hackathon in the field of law and artificial intelligence. In addition, she was active in the Harvard Women’s Law Association and led the “Women in Washington” program.
