Biography

Moran Aumann is the firm’s Managing partner, alongside Adv. Avi Porten.

In parallel with this position, Moran serves as a lawyer at the Competition & Antitrust department.

Moran works in the fields of competition – regulation, civil litigation, and regular counsel and legal opinions mainly for energy, communications and banking companies. In addition, she represents clients before the Israel Competition Authority in a wide variety of issues – applications for the approval of mergers, applications for exemptions from the approval of binding arrangements, disclosure of documents, etc.

Moran represents companies and officers in criminal proceedings carried out by the Israel Competition Authority and in civil proceedings before the Competition Tribunal.

During her academic studies at the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University, Moran served as a teaching assistant to Dr. Ram Rivlin; as a research assistant to Dr. Asaf Zussman (Department of Economics, Hebrew University); as a member of the journal “Mishpatim” of the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University; and as a student at Georgetown University in the US, where she studied US antitrust law.

Moran began her career at the firm as an intern and was licensed to practice law in 2012.
