Niv Gur

Niv Gur is an associate in our Litigation Department in our Tel Aviv office.

Niv represents clients in complex commercial litigation proceedings before courts and arbitral tribunals. His practice focuses on contractual and corporate disputes, shareholder disputes, class actions, and proceedings involving complex economic and evidentiary issues.

As part of his practice, Niv advises clients on developing litigation strategies, analyzing commercial disputes, and addressing preliminary proceedings, interim remedies and discovery, as well as managing proceedings through to resolution.

Niv graduated from law school with Dean’s honors. During his studies, he participated in the college’s official journal and in an honors program as part of which he accompanied Retired Judge Shaul Shohat for one year. He also participated in a proseminar supervised by Retired Judge Eliezer Rivlin. In addition, Niv served as a research assistant to Dr. Yosef Rahamim, who currently serves as a judge at the Regional Labor Court.

• Advising on a commercial arbitration exceeding NIS 1 billion between the partners in the acquisition of Aeronautics, concerning the exercise of a put option and a dispute regarding the company’s valuation.
• Advising on a complex environmental class action concerning the contamination of groundwater, Nahal Bokek and the Dead Sea with industrial wastewater, involving wide-ranging hydrological, ecological, evidentiary and public-law issues.
• Representing investors in connection with an investment and share acquisition transaction involving Yeinot Bitan, in proceedings concerning an alleged transaction that was not completed and the sale of control of the company to Electra.
• Handling a commercial arbitration concerning development rights in the Hof HaTchelet area, involving hundreds of millions of shekels, and contractual and corporate disputes between the Ashtrom Group and holders of rights in the land.
