Biography
Ilan Maeir is an attorney in our Planning and Construction Department in our Jerusalem office.
Ilan advises real estate developers on real estate, land-use planning and taxation matters, and specializes in public and administrative law.
In his previous positions at the Ministry of Justice and the Knesset, Ilan provided ongoing legal advice to public entities, promoted legislation and government resolutions, advised on arrangements for preventing conflicts of interest, conducted legal reviews of statutory appointments and senior appointments, and represented clients before Knesset forums and committees.
Ilan holds an LL.B. with honors from Bar-Ilan University (2016), and an LL.M. with honors from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University in Chicago (2023). In addition, he served as a teaching assistant for a Legal Research Methods course at the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University (2024).
