The purchase of the Patriarchate’s lands in Jerusalem has been completed

The firm’s Real Estate Department recently advised a deal considered the largest in Jerusalem in recent decades. As part of this transaction, the American real estate development company Extell acquired lands belonging to the Greek Orthodox Church for a sum of 750 million shekels. The land, spanning an area of 520 dunams, includes approximately 1,000 residential units built in various Jerusalem neighborhoods such as Rehavia, Talbiya, and Nayot. Additionally, it comprises hotels such as the Inbal Hotel, the Prima Hotel, and the Dan Panorama Hotel, significant public buildings including the Great Synagogue and the Israel Museum, as well as open spaces and over 12 plots for development. Attorneys Avi Porten, Deuel Peli, Ulli Bedell and numerous others from the commercial division and other teams were involved in making this transaction a reality.
