Gilad Yaniv

Biography

Gilad Yaniv is a partner in the litigation department at our Tel Aviv office.

Gilad specializes in civil-commercial litigation including class action, as well as commercial arbitration.

Gilad also acts on disputes related to computer systems projects, including arbitration in this field.

His clients include some of the leading companies in the market, among others in the computer systems and industry sectors.

Gilad joined the firm after serving as a legal assistant to honorable Justice Hanan Melcer at the Supreme Court, after completing a LL.M from the University of Chicago as a winner of the Gruss-Lipper scholarship and after working as a legal assistant in an Illinois court.

During his studies at the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University, Gilad served as an editorial member of the Hebrew University Law Review.

  • Represented a market leading information systems company in arbitration (and parallel court proceedings) against the State of Israel regarding delays in establishing a computer system that the company set up for the State of Israel.
  • Represented the directors and officers of a startup in which hundreds of millions of shekels were invested, in a proceeding filed by the company’s liquidators, alleging directors and officers liability for the company’s failure and liquidation.
  • Represented a food manufacturer in class action centered on allegations of violation of the Price Control Law.
  • Represented market leading companies in class actions concerning claims of companies’ liability for environmental damages.
