Doron Goldbarsht

Biography

Dr. Doron Goldbarsht is the Managing Partner of Agmon & Co. Rosenberg Hacohen & Co., Australia.

Doron has extensive experience in litigation and commerce, and a diverse background in commercial transactions and financial regulation, with a special interest in compliance with AML/CTF regulations and preparing AML/CTF programs, innovation in payments and services and technology. He specializes in all aspects of AML/CTF regulations, commercial litigation and dispute resolution and provides general consultation, legal opinions and representation to public (TASE and ASX) and privately-held companies.

Doron joined our firm in 2011 after working in Israel as an intern in the office of the Deputy Attorney General (Special Affairs) under Adv. Shai Nitzan, serving as an attorney for a leading commercial and civil litigation law firm, and as a Research Assistant at the Israeli Democracy Institute.

Doron received his LL.B from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, his LL.M. in Commercial Law as part of the Erasmus Mundus Program with a scholarship from the European Commission, which included studies at the Vrije University Brussels, Belgium, and his PhD from the University of New South Wales where his thesis focuses on state compliance with AML/CTF international standards.

Doron is widely-published on the topic of compliance with AML/CTF regulations. He regularly presents on related topics at seminars and conferences around the world. Doron mentors startups, and serves as an expert panel member for the NSW-Israel R&D funding program. He is also a lecturer in the Macquarie University Law School.

Doron has practiced in Israel and recently in Australia, and is based in our office in Sydney, Australia.
